Newark - U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) today hosted "Children's Health Day" at the Bayonne Family Medical by Horizon Health Center. At this Federally Qualified Health Center, approximately 55 children ranging from infants to teens received free dental care, hearing and vision screenings, and immunizations.

"I'm proud to join with Bayonne Family Medical to provide our children with necessary screenings," said Senator Menendez. "A healthy start helps our children reach their fullest potential. That's why it has been a priority of mine in the Senate to make sure that all children, regardless of their parent's income level, have access to quality care. And as long as I'm in the Senate, I will continue to fight for investments in our community health centers."

Members of Senator Menendez's staff were also on-hand at the event to meet with constituents and answer questions.
