WASHINTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker today announced that several New Jersey airports have been awarded a total of $10,275,602 from the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Airport Improvement program (AIP).
“This federal funding allows us to vastly improve and update our airports’ infrastructure to ensure the safe and efficient travel of all those flying in and out of New Jersey,” said Sen. Menendez. “I will continue to support and push for more federal investments like these that help modernize our aging infrastructure, grow our economy, create jobs, and ensure our state’s long-term economic competitiveness.”
“New Jersey’s airports serve as critical transportation hubs that help grow our economy, create good jobs, and connect our state with the world,” said Sen. Booker. “These federal investments will help us make significant upgrades to our airports so they can better serve our state and its people.”
