WASHINGTON -- Six in 10 U.S. voters support stronger gun laws in the wake of the Las Vegas massacre, the highest backing ever recorded in a Quinnipiac University poll.

"Another horrific mass shooting has left dozens of families shattered by the loss of a loved one, while hundreds more face a long and painful road to recovery," Menendez said. "As the people's elected representatives, we have a moral obligation to put in place policies to prevent massacres like this one in the future."
