Three Hudson County community health centers will each receive $175,000 in federal grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Sens. Bob Menendez and Cory Booker announced today.

"Our community health centers are the backbone of our health care system," Menendez, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee that sets national health policy, said in a statement. "These important investments help keep our families and communities strong by providing essential preventive and primary care to those who might otherwise not have access."
