Menendez Rails Against IRS Nominee as a Danger to States like NJ, Votes Against His Confirmation
Today, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, senior member of the Senate Finance Committee that sets national tax policy, voted against confirming Trump IRS Commissioner nominee, Charles Rettig, after speaking out against his nomination on the senate Floor. Menendez highlighted the danger New Jersey – and more than 30 other states – would face if Rettig is confirmed.
