***VIDEO*** NJ Senators Stand in Solidarity with Fast 4 Families

WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-NJ) today joined supporters and individuals at the Fast for Families tents in order to bring attention to the critical need for the House of Representatives to take action on comprehensive immigration reform. Last month, faith, immigrant rights and labor leaders launched "Fast for Families: A Call for Immigration Reform and Citizenship," on the National Mall, steps away from the Capitol. Leaders and immigrant members of the community have fasted every day and night to move the hearts and compassion of members of Congress to pass immigration reform with a path to citizenship. Both Menendez and Booker are fasting for one day in solidarity with their cause.

The Senators were also joined by New Jersey Reverend Seth Kaper-Dale of the Reformed Church of Highland Park and members of his congregation who came to Washington in support of other immigrants and advocates calling for action by the House on immigration reform.
