WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Bob Menendez today voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which protects the KC-10 air refueling mission at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The bill now heads to the president’s desk to be signed into law.

“I am very pleased with the passage of this bill, which establishes our nation’s defense policy, and protects the KC-10 air refueling mission at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst,” said Sen. Menendez. “I have long engaged Air Force leadership about the critical role that our KC-10s provide in our armed forces global mobility, filed amendments to the Senate authorization bill and wrote to the members of the conference committee. The mission at JBMDL is vital to our national security and I’m proud to have helped preserve it.”
