WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) released the following statement today in observance of the 40th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision.

"As we recognize the 40th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, we must remember that we cannot take for granted a woman's right to make choices about her reproductive health," said Senator Menendez. "Providing comprehensive health care should include a range of services, such as support for healthy pregnancies, access to contraception, and education about all reproductive options, so that all women can make the best possible choices when it comes to their health. Let us recognize and celebrate the progress we have made in women's health in the 40 years since Roe v. Wade, and continue moving forward towards ensuring all women have access to the health care they need."
