Menendez on State’s Request to FEMA for Damage Assessment From Severe Storm in Southern New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ – U.S. Senator Bob Menendez said the following in reaction to the State of New Jersey’s request to FEMA for an Individual Assistance Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties as a result of this week’s severe storm.

“I’m very pleased that the State has engaged FEMA to help determine the extent of the damage from this week’s terrible storm which has left so many families still in the dark, cleaning up debris and trying to get back to normal.  I stand ready to assist and advocate on behalf of New Jersey’s application should the State request federal assistance.”
