WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker today announced $2,900,283 in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grants to improve and upgrade airports across New Jersey.
“Investing in our aging infrastructure keeps our families safe, creates good jobs, and allows travel to continue running smoothly,” said Sen. Menendez. “New Jersey’s airports are vital to our nation’s transportation system and I’ll continue fighting to ensure our state receives the necessary funding in order to keep our airports modern and efficient.”
“These grants will help modernize New Jersey’s regional airports, from Atlantic County to Essex County,” said Sen. Booker. “Federal investments in our aging infrastructure keep travelers safe and the regional economy moving.”
