Legislator will tour Lourdes Hospital, Hear from Patient who has been assisted by Patient Navigator

Newark, NJ - On Friday, August 11, U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) will tour Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, NJ to discuss the success of Patient Navigator programs in assisting patients, which would be replicated nationally through legislation penned by Menendez and signed into law by President Bush in 2005. Additionally, he will discuss his new legislation to institute Veterans Navigators, who would help our veterans navigate the often confusing Veterans Administration.
