    Senator Menendez (D-NJ) joins the Jersey City Health Center to celebrate the dedication and renaming of the Metropolitan Family Health Network (MFHN)Pediatric Department's children's health facility in his honor. The newly dedicated areas, named "The Senator Robert Menendez Pediatric Screening Center," houses state-of-the art screening equipment to serve Jersey City children and their families. Senator Menendez was honored and recognized for his unrelenting support of the MFHN and children's health initiatives in general.

This followed a five-month investigation spearheaded by Menendez's office. The report details the political and commercial motivations that influenced the various governments involved in his release and calls for al-Megrahi to be returned to prison. The Senators were joined by Brian Flynn, the brother of one of the victims that died in the terrorist act.

    At the height of the holiday shopping season, U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) announced a new legislation to address hidden prepaid card fees at the Garden State Plaza Mall. The market for all kinds of prepaid cards is estimated to top $427 billion next year in the United States. Most prepaid cards, however, come with a list of fees that add up quickly and have weak protections that leave consumers vulnerable.
