Senator Menendez heads to Lower Township in Cape May to attend and offer remarks at a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new water lines which will bring access to public potable water service to 7,600 residents who currently rely on private wells. The $10.8 million dollar federal investment came through the USDA Rural Development program and the Senator fought to clarify changes of “rural definition” so that Townships like Lower could be eligible for USDA infrastructure assistance.
