U.S. Senators Menendez and Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ), Representative Albio Sires (D-13), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan and Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy announced a $9.7 million in federal investment for the A. Harry Moore housing development revitalization effort. The existing buildings will be demolished and replaced with 299 new units - on and off site. This is the third HOPE VI grant that Jersey City has received, with the previous two totaling more than $65 million.
