U.S. Sen. Cory Booker may be running for president, but some fellow members of New Jersey’s congressional delegation aren’t clambering for spots in that administration.

“I am thrilled to be the senior U.S. senator from New Jersey, and I intend to finish my term as senior U.S. senator from New Jersey,” U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, laughing, told the New Jersey Globe when asked if he would be interested in a role as Secretary of State in a Booker administration.

Menendez is ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

Rep. Donald Norcross sits on the House Labor Committee and suggested to the New Jersey Globe that he wouldn’t necessarily jump at the chance to head the U.S. Department of Labor in hypothetical Booker administration.

“I love my job,” Norcross said after a bout of laughter when asked about the hypothetical position.
