U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-NJ) issued the following statement after the Senate voted to confirm New Jersey’s Russell Deyo to be the next Under Secretary for Management at the Department of Homeland Security.

“I’m very pleased the Senate overwhelmingly voted to confirm Russell Deyo, a constituent, highly-qualified attorney, and an experienced executive leader who will bring an unmatched skillset to his new role at the Department of Homeland Security,” said Sen. Menendez. “Mr. Deyo’s impressive career and extensive managerial credentials in both the public and private sectors make him highly qualified for the diverse responsibilities that come with serving the nation as Under Secretary for Management at DHS.
